Rooted Works Co.Grunt work that runs itself.

Orangeville, Ontario · serving Canada & the US

Still chasing invoices and retyping the same information twice?

Rooted Works sets up the work that eats your week so it runs on its own: payment reminders that go out on time, information that moves between your systems without retyping, follow-ups that never get missed. You approve anything that touches your customers or your money. And you stop carrying the rest in your head.

The grind

Nobody decided it should work this way.

Ten minutes chasing an invoice. Half an hour retyping a job into the accounting system. An hour building the Monday report by hand. None of it was planned. It piled up one task at a time until it became the job inside the job.

It isn't only the hours. It's the mental load of remembering who to chase, what's due and what slipped. That's the part we take away.

Invoices paid sooner. Nothing falling through the cracks. About 15 hours a week back.

How it works

Three steps. You decide at each one.

1

We talk

Twenty minutes about what your week actually looks like. No pitch.

2

We build it

Fixed scope, fixed price, connected to the software you already use. Tested in your real business, not a demo.

3

We keep it running

Optional monitoring and fixes so the hours don't creep back. Cancel anytime. What we built stays yours.

Larger businesses can start with a full Operations Audit: a written report of where your hours go, what they cost and what to fix first. You keep it whether you build with us or not.

Why Rooted Works

Built by someone who's carried it.

I'm Dave. I've spent 25 years running operations in retail, construction, solar, investment funds, engineering and the trades. I've signed the paycheques, chased the receivables, and lain awake at 3 a.m. worrying about cash flow.

Rooted Works exists because I know what it feels like when that weight finally comes off.

You stay in control

You hand off the doing. Not the deciding.

Anything that touches your customers or your money waits for your approval. The system does the work. You keep the call.

Common questions

What you're probably wondering.

Is this AI?

Partly. We use AI and automation tools to build what you need. You don't need to understand any of it or learn anything new. You'll just notice the work getting done.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can describe your week, that's all we need. We build it, connect it to the tools you already use, and hand you something that just works.

Who do you work with?

Small and mid-sized businesses across Canada and the US, typically 5 to 50 people, that have been at it long enough to know something isn't working. If your team does repetitive work that software should be doing, we can almost certainly help.

How long does it take?

Most builds are scoped and running in 2 to 6 weeks. Not a pilot or a prototype. Something working in your business.

What does it cost?

Every build is quoted at a fixed price for a fixed scope, so there's no hourly meter running. Ongoing care is optional and you can cancel anytime. We share real figures on the first call, once we understand what you're trying to fix.

What if something breaks?

Every build comes with 30 days of warranty support. With a care plan, we monitor it and usually hear about a problem before you do.

Do you work outside Orangeville?

Yes. Most of the work happens over video calls and email, with businesses across Canada and the US.
